We are incredibly proud to announce that we have won a German Design Award 2020 for our Downtown washbasin in the category Excellent Product Design – Public Design.
The prize will be presented at the awards ceremony for the German Design Awards 2020, which will be held in Frankfurt on 7 February 2020, and we will definitely be attending this amazing event.

When selecting Downtown as a winner the judges of the awards noted the following : “The washbasin’s striking bowl lends it an almost sculptural appearance – an effect that is further heightened by the monolithic form of the body of the basin. The minimalist design concept lends the washbasin a timelessly modern appearance, with its easy-to-clean surfaces consistently and harmoniously complemented by the simple design of the tap.”

Following the judges’ decision, there will also be a round of public voting where people can select their five favourites from among this year’s competition winners. The project with the most votes will be presented with the Public Choice Award at the awards ceremony on 7 February 2020.
