The Abisko Washbasin from Eumar is a totally new concept for our modern lifestyle. In these environmentally-conscious times the creacore solid surface washbasin Abisko brings us back to nature. Inspired by the unspoilt waterfalls of the SwedishNational Park Abisko, the sink is unfettered by pipes. Nor does it allow water to accumulate in a big tub, something designers Johan Kauppi and Lars Sundström deem unnecessary. Rather, one should be aware of just how much water one is using, and catch it with careful consideration.

The washbasin’s striking bowl lends it an almost sculptural appearance – an effect that is further heightened by the monolithic form of the body of the basin. The minimalist design concept lends the washbasin a timelessly modern appearance, with its easy-to-clean surfaces consistently and harmoniously complemented by the simpledesign of the tap.

The Ovo collection presents a trilogy of geometries – round, oval and rectangular. The thin rectangular geometries of the console system and parallel wall mounted shelves complement the round mirrors and oval shower, washbasins, shower, freestanding bathtubs.
