Richard Branson

Sir Richard Branson is an entrepreneur who we greatly admire at Eumar Design. Born on July 18, 1950, Branson is a British billionaire, entrepreneur, and business magnate. In the 1970s, he founded the Virgin Group, which now controls more than 400 companies across various industries.

We are honored to have the opportunity to work on one of Branson’s most recent ventures, Virgin Voyages, where we bring cutting-edge design and innovation to the bathrooms on their cruise ships.

Here, we present two of Branson’s guiding principles that have contributed to his immense success and that deeply resonate with us at Eumar Design:

• “Keep setting new challenges!” According to Branson, it’s essential to write down your ideas, as they could vanish by morning. He advocates making lists for everything, from company ideas to upcoming plans. “Write down every single idea you have, no matter how big or small,” he wrote in a blog post. And then challenge yourself to follow through. You never know what’s going to hit.

• “Believe in your ideas!” Self-belief is crucial. If you don’t have faith in your ideas and plans, why should anyone else? As Branson says, “If you aren’t proud of your idea and believe in your plans, why should anybody else?”

Elon Musk
