Project where we are adding stars: Hyatt Place, Tallinn

The opening of Hyatt Place Tallinn marked a major milestone for the region’s hospitality sector. As the first Hyatt-branded property in Estonia, this 169-room hotel needed to make a flawless first impression. Strategically located in the harbor district, it was built to serve thousands of guests annually – meaning the interiors had to be as resilient as they are beautiful.

For Eumar, this project was more than just a supply contract; it was an opportunity to demonstrate the full capability of our engineering and design teams on a global stage.

Beyond the Basin: A Complete Bathroom Ecosystem

We are incredibly proud that Hyatt entrusted Eumar with the comprehensive bathroom fit-out for every single guest room.

While many suppliers stop at the washbasin, we delivered a fully integrated solution. Our contribution included the signature Lightweight® washbasin, but we went further to ensure a unified design language. We manufactured and installed custom glass shower enclosures (shower doors), precision-engineered handles, and integrated furniture elements.

Every detail – from the smooth touch of the vanity to the weight of the handle – was crafted to meet the rigorous standards of the Hyatt brand.

Engineered for the Realities of Hospitality

Delivering this level of luxury in a high-traffic environment required smart innovation. Our Lightweight® composite technology was the key to balancing aesthetics with operational performance:

  • Monolithic Hygiene: We created joint-free surfaces that eliminate the grout lines found in traditional bathrooms. This means bacteria has nowhere to hide, making the housekeeping team’s job faster and ensuring every guest walks into a clinically clean, premium space.

  • Smart Construction: By utilizing our Lightweight® material, we significantly reduced the structural load of the bathroom units. This allowed for a faster, safer, and more efficient installation process across all 169 rooms – keeping the construction schedule on track.

Protecting the Asset

The true value of Eumar’s solution lies in its longevity. In the hospitality business, room downtime is lost revenue. Unlike traditional ceramic or quartz, our composite stone is fully repairable on-site. If a surface gets scratched or worn, maintenance staff can restore it to brand-new condition in minutes, without replacing the unit.

We are honored to have played such a pivotal role in bringing Hyatt Place Tallinn to life.

By delivering a complete, durable, and beautiful bathroom solution, we’ve helped ensure that this landmark property will remain a jewel in Tallinn’s hospitality crown for years to come.
